Kalgoorlie-Boulder is one of Australia’s largest outback cities, with a population of over 30,000. Located six hundred (600) kilometres east of Perth in Western Australia, Kalgoorlie-Boulder is famous for its numerous mine sites.
To recognise and reward excellence in business and to acknowledge organisations that have played a significant role in promoting the Goldfields region, the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry hold the Goldfields Business Awards annually. This year, OCS won the “Employers Supporting People with a Disability Award” by demonstrating our distinction in providing employees with disabilities with internal workplace support, financial assistance and development of social activities.
“This achievement is a significant recognition of our contribution to our employees and to the local community. We have nine employees in the Goldfields area, each working with some form or disability and this award demonstrates our ability to accomplish social responsibility.
